Fly predators monthly, fly masks daily and fly spray as needed. Also picking up the manure in the paddock.
I feed flax seed to my horses. The un digested whole flaxseed attracts birds. The birds eat the un digested flax seed and fly larva! It works great to reduce fly population in the area.
I also use a feed thru larvacide and five baited traps and also Spalding predators.
I also keep his paddock cleaned daily and have straw in the center for him to urinate on and also a place to rest
